As part of the team’s contribution, we helped maintain the Gentle Valley, home to the gentle lemur family. Although one of the sessions poured with rain, it didn’t dampen the experience in making a difference at the zoo and to these endangered animals.
After the teams hard work, they heard from a member of the mammal team at Jersey Zoo, learning about how these lemurs are under threat and the work the zoo are doing with local communities in Alaotra to protect these unique primates.
