Four of our directors took the plunge and lead our teams in the 49th annual Jersey Swimarathon. Joined in the pool by staff to clock up as many laps as possible in one hour, they were also supported in the water by two children of one of the directors.
Other members of the team gave encouragement poolside as the team lapped the pool to raise funds and contribute to the fundraising by Lions Club of Jersey for local causes.
Organised annually since 1972, the Jersey Swimarathon is a five day event involving islanders of all ages and swimming ability.
Staff from Alex Picot Trust have been involved since 1978 and it continues to be a highlight on our social and fundraising calendar.
