Making Every Step Count!

After a month clocking up over 12.5 million steps, we were proud to raise £3,750 for local charity, Jersey Stroke Support.

Our annual step challenge is a great opportunity to raise awareness of strokes and vital funding for the local charity Jersey Stroke Support, who support stroke survivors and their families.  The challenge, which took place in September, was kicked off by Tracy O’Regan of Jersey Stroke Support with an interesting talk with a stroke survivor.

Collectively recording 12,516,584 steps in September, everyone was encouraged to achieve 10,000 steps a day.  This sparked some healthy competition amongst the 7 teams, each striving to achieve the highest step count by the end of the month and saw the introduction of a Wednesday lunchtime walking club!

Well done to everyone who stepped up to this challenge, our winning team and all our star walkers!
