On Sunday 18th June, three of our team took on a personal challenge to compete in the Relay element of the 2023 Jersey Triathlon Relay.
Graham Prescott, Senior Trust Manager, swam 1500metres before handing over to Director, Steve Gully who cycled 40KM before our Head of Compliance, Warwick Gill ran the final leg of 10KM.
Each achieved an awesome time completing the course in 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Steve Gully said: “We signed up to the event to do something as a team and to add an extra incentive to our personal training. It was great fun, and the event itself is superbly organised. Thanks also to all our colleagues for their messages of support and for turning up on the day to cheer us on too.
“It’s always great to see colleagues giving up their time to train and then compete in local events and charity challenges, it proves that individually and collectively as Alex Picot Trust, we are committed to being part of the local community.”
Extra kudos to Warwick who became a father
within less than 48 hours of crossing the finish line – what a week!
